LAC COURTE OREILLES OJIBWE UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES COMMENCEMENT

Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University will celebrate 48 degree and certificate candidates as they cross the stage in front of family and friends during the 2023 Commencement Ceremony, on Saturday, May 20st at 11 a.m., at the LCO Honor the Earth Powwow grounds.

 This year’s celebration of graduates will include an address by the American Indian College Fund (AICF) Student of the Year, Kristy Baccam, comments by Board of Regents, Monica Isham, and a keynote by Alumni, Board of Regents member, and Bizhiki Wellness Center Director Marie Basty. WIEA President and LCOOU staff member, Dr. Jim Pete, will emcee and the invocation will be given by student, Miss Edwina Ziigwanikwe Buffalo-Reyes.

 Commencement will be open to the public and we hope to see you there to celebrate our hard-working graduates and this accomplishment.
