LCOOU Alumni of the Year

Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University's (LCOOU) Alumni of the Year award recognizes one LCOOU alumni that has made extraordinary commitments to the mission of LCOOU and the Seven Grandfather Teachings. Award winners are recognized at the annual Migiziwag Dayesaashijig Gala, which will be held in June. 

Criteria: 

Nominee is an alumnus of Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe University [Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwa Community College, Lac Courte Oreilles Ojibwe College].

Nomination Process

  • Complete the Alumni of the Year Nomination Form.

  • Submit up to three letters of recommendation for this nominee. Only one letter is necessary from someone other than the nominating party.

  • Nominations and recommendation letter(s) must be received by 5:00pm CST May 31, 2024.
