Hello and welcome. I am pleased to be an instructor in the Legal Studies - Lay Advocacy Certificate program. I grew up in Ashland, Wisconsin and attended five different colleges (U of Minnesota Duluth, Oklahoma U, U of Texas, U of New Mexico, U of Minnesota) where I obtained a BA degree from the U of Oklahoma and a JD from the U of Minnesota Law School. I moved away from my hometown for 40 years while working as a FBI Special Agent until my retirement, as well as working in various private and government sector jobs. I moved back to Ashland about five years ago and have been associated with LCOO College since that time. My son Cole, and daughter Mattie, both reside with family in Little Rock, Arkansas. I am a member of the Leech Lake Ojibwe tribe in Minnesota and a descendant of the Muscogee Creek Nation of Oklahoma.
