  • Hello! I am excited to be a part of the Education Department at LCOOU. I grew up in the Hayward area and after graduating from high school, I moved to Duluth and pursued my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. I graduated from UMD in 2008 and have had various roles in education since then in Las Vegas, the Twin Cities area, and most recently in Hayward. While teaching, I earned my master's degree in Special Education-Specific Learning Disabilities from Concordia University in 2016. My experiences in teaching have been in both general education and special education at the elementary level. I have always loved education, and it is an honor for me to support students in their learning. I am looking forward to instructing adult learners and helping them be successful at the college level.

  • It is my goal to provide personalized and relevant instruction to future educators. It is an honor to be a part of the LCOOU community.

  • I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two children, and our large extended family. We love being active outdoors year-round and make the most of summer by spending as much time as possible on the lake. I enjoy gardening and adding new houseplants to our home. Additionally, I enjoy participating in community events and staying engaged with those around me.
